# Presentment text and links

> The wording shown around disclosure links at each acceptance point, and how it's versioned and recorded.

Presentment is the text a customer reads at an acceptance point, plus the display titles of the linked documents. For example: "By selecting Continue, you agree to the Deposit Account Agreement and Fee Schedule."

## Who controls it

The bank controls this language. Each bank provides the text for each disclosure, and Tesouro implements it in the platform UI for each placement: account opening, new user, new signer, and update re-acceptance. The wording is adjusted so it fits each moment.

Banks don't edit this copy directly. Changes to a bank's presentment text are implemented by Tesouro.

## Links

Disclosure links always open the current active version of the document in the platform viewer. The document a customer clicks is exactly the version their acceptance record references.

## Versioning

Presentment text is versioned alongside the disclosures. Each [acceptance record](https://docs.tesouro.com/embedded-banking/guides/disclosures/acceptance-records.md) stores which version of the text was displayed, so the full screen a customer saw can be reproduced later for examiners.
